Hooked On Cherry Tomato

Hooked On Cherry is a sweet black fruit that is great for salads, snacking, preserves, market sales and so much more. Crack free fruits are stunningly beautiful and inviting. Seeds were first given to me by Bill Jeffers of Evansville Indiana and they seemed to be unstable. After growing it out for several years, it now is very stable! Its original name was T-Black Cherry, but Bill explained to me that that name was used from one of its parents. Given the permission to change its name, I have decided to call it Hooked On Cherry. You would love this fruit! So sweet and juicy, prolific plants, excellent disease resistance! So much upside! I am truly hooked! You'll be too! -
Myriam Tomato
Bunches and bunches of bright red cherries is what you will harvest over and over again. Mariam Cherry tomato is a prolific multiflora type that will produce so many great cherries for you that you head will spin. Indeterminate plants were between 5 and 6 feet tall and started ripening very early in the season. Most clusters had 40- more than 60 tomatoes on them. Disease resistance was very good and fruits were sweet over tart. Excellent snack, great for preserves and canning whole. I am really happy that I tried this one! Will definitely grow again! -
Orange Roussollini Tomato
Orange Roussollini Tomato is a prolific cherry. Plump fruits begin to ripen orange before turning to a deep red. Mildly sweet, with some tang, this one delivers a very pleasing experience! Plants are super prolific and begin to ripen their fruits about 75 days from transplant. Plants were no taller than 5 feet and did well in hot weather. These are perfect for canning, snacking and salads. A great choice also for market sales. Try these! -
Amber Keyes Tomato
A beautiful sight to see, Amber Keyes tomato plants produce huge clusters of the most beautifully colored, greenish/yellowish fruits! True to its multiflora genes, our plants produced many clusters of more than 50 fruits, that were sweet, inviting and juicy. I especially liked that they were relatively early producers. These were transplanted in early May and we got our first ripened fruits on July 7th. Get ready for tons and tons of pear shaped cherry sized fruits! You will be amazed! Plants were 5 feet tall and hard working. A great choice for snacking, preserves(I make jam), salads etc! -

Snegirjok Micro Dwarf Tomato
A standout variety in our micro grow-outs, Snegirjok micro dwarf tomato produced so many red cherries that they totally caught me by surprise. Averaging 12 inches tall, this micro is just a pleasure to grow. Its flavor is also very good! Mildly sweet with a good balance of tartness, these are perfect snackers that will keep you returning for more. Ours did excellently both in 4/4 and one gallon containers, without much difference in size of production. A must try! Note: I've also grown these spelled as "Snegirjoc". -
Karma Apricot Tomato
Another stunning variety by Karen Olivier and Marsha Eisenberg, KARMA Apricot tomato is a beauty to behold. I also happen to think that this tomato has the perfect name. This potato leafed variety should do well in northern gardens! Plants are tall and produce nicely all season long. They begin to ripen fruits about 75 days after transplant. KARMA Apricot is mildly sweet, with delicious fruity undertones. Texture is nice too! Perfect cherry for salads, snacking, preserves and garnish. Tall plants so stake early and well! -
KARMA Pink Tomato
KARMA Pink Tomato is yet another variety by breeder Karen Olivier and Marsha Eisenberg. Like others in this series, its vines are tall, wispy potato leafed and prolifically produce early ripening fruits! Pink has a sweeter, fruity finish that is perfect for snacking. I made some great preserves(jam) with these. These would work well for plating, and salads too! Indeterminate plants have really good disease resistance and produce until frost. Nice aroma and texture. Pretty when sliced! A winner! Good selection for northern gardens too! Try the KARMA series in your garden, you would love them all! -
KARMA Purple Tomato
If you are seeking a purple, larger cherry variety with superb taste, try KARMA Purple Tomato. With this one you will find superb taste, good production, hardy plants that are early producing and also good for northern gardens. There is truly no downside to KARMA purple. Breeder Karen Olivier of Canada and Marsha Eisenberg of Florida collaborated on this and others in the KARMA series. Purple is rich, juicy and sweet with nice aroma when fully ripened. Its slightly different from it's sister, KARMA Purple Multiflora, which produces slightly smaller and earlier fruits that are just as good. All in the series are potato leafed. You couldn't go wrong with any variety in the KARMA series! -
Karma Miracle Tomato
What a fine tasting variety! KARMA Miracle tomato is another excellent production by Canadian breeder Karen Olivier and Marsha Eisenberg of Plantation Florida. Together, these two dedicated women created the KARMA series. Miracle is perhaps my favorite because its taste is top of the line and it's also super beautiful too. Tall, wispy potato leafed vines, have staying power and produced well in 2020. These began to ripen around 72 days from transplant. They will also do well in northern gardens. Now, back to taste! Some fruitiness, nice balance, complete experience, satisfying. Get ready to harvest a lot of larger sized cherries, all season long! A Winner for sure! -
I have been growing some of Reinhard's products for several years now and he always breeds some top of the line varieties. I especially like his cherry tomatoes! This year I grew Reinhard Kraft's Goldkirsche tomato, a light yellow, dime to nickel sized cherry, that will blow you away with its production. 4-5 feet tall, indeterminate plants are slow growing, but once they catch on, produced so many tomatoes that I was hardly able to keep up. Fruits came in bunches of 10-15 and began to ripen about 70 days after transplant. Once they started coming in, it was off to the races every day picking all summer long! These are very sweet and juicy, with a semi firm to softish feel. Like good candy! Will do well in larger containers too! -
Kiss The Sky Tomato
In 2020 we grew about 120 new varieties, not as many as pervious years. But in my opinion, we selected some excellent varieties. Kiss The Sky tomato is one of those! Large cherries grow on tall vines of 6 feet or more. Other than its outstanding flavor, this variety is a massive producer of brownish purple fruits that are outstandingly sweet, rich and earthy. A very desirable tomato! Its heavy production and blemish-free fruits make it a perfect choice for market vendors. I am so happy that I grew these out! I used these tomatoes for some of the best tomato jam. Grow these, you won't regret it! -

Moment Micro Dwarf Tomato
One of my favorites to grow, Moment Micro Dwarf Tomato is a high producing variety. I like these too because they are very nicely flavored. Round, red and delicious cherries, are produced on short plants of 10-12 inches. Ours did excellently in 3/4 gallon containers! My recommendation would be up to 1 gallon but nothing bigger! Moment started blooming just weeks after transplant and fruits were ripening about 65 days after transplant. They continued producing for many weeks afterwards. Production is really good for such small plants. These are sweet with a little tartness and overall a very good experience! -

Birdie Jaune Micro Dwarf Tomato
Yet another tasty and exciting variety to grow, Birdie Jaune micro dwarf tomato is a solid choice for container and small garden growing. Our rugose leafed, 10 inch plants, produced canary yellow cherries that were sweet over tart with a very refreshing feel. Our plants started ripening fruits about 67 days from transplant and continued producing for quite a while. Does well under grow lights or outside. 3/4 to 1 gallon containers are perfect for these. Delice De Neuilly Tomato
Whether you have grown micro dwarfs before or not, Delice De Neuilly micro dwarf tomato is a very good choice for growing indoors or out. Sturdy, 6 -10 inch plants, will do excellently in 3/4 - 1 gallon containers. For me, these were a joy to grow. Production is very good and taste is on the acidic side and refreshing. Nice and crunchy! Very good keepers and salad tomatoes! This variety begins to ripen around 65 days from transplant! -

Micro Tina Micro Dwarf Tomato
Micro Tina micro dwarf tomato is a cross between Micro Tom and Sugar tomatoes. Initially, seeds for these were difficult to get and we couldn't secure any. Eventually, my friend Terry from Secret Seed Cartel in France blessed me with a few seeds. This variety is very short. growing. Our tallest plants were about 8 inches. These produce smaller sized cherries that are mild, with a slightly sweet finish. Production is good but not excellent. Great for canning whole, pickling, and snacking fresh. 3/4 -1 gallon containers are perfect! -
Dark Stripe Sweetheart Tomato
A beautifully bi-colored fruit, Dark Stripe Sweetheart tomato is packed with excellent flavor. This rich, sweet and complexed tasting fruit, is a great snacker! Our prolific potato leafed plants produced 4-6 ounce tomatoes that were a pleasure to see and eat. Vines were about 6 feet tall and produced bunches of 5-7. When fully ripened, these are purple with green striping. I also love it's aroma. Even thought Dark Stripe Sweetheart is on the smaller side, it is perfect for sandwiches. It would be a great choice for market sales, garnish, cooking and tons more. You can't go wrong with this one! -

Tigerette Dwarf Tomato
Thinking that it was much shorter variety, I grow out 5 Tigerette Dwarf tomato plants in 2 gallon containers. They ware two and a half feet tall and needed bigger containers. I would advise 3-5 gallons if you are growing in containers. This beautiful fruit is a plump, red and yellow, slightly above average sized cherry. Taste is mildly sweet with overall mild taste. Dwarf plants have beautiful chartreuse foliage that serves as the perfect backdrop for their bright ripened fruits. Good production, but not prolific. Mid-season variety and perfect for indoor growing under lights. Canning, cooking, snacking, garnish and more! -

Yellow Pigmy Micro Dwarf Tomato
Yellow Pigmy Micro Dwarf tomato is a prolific producing variety that's great for small containers. 12-15 inch plants produce prolifically all summer long. These work well in 1-2 gallon containers. Ours are all grown in 1 gallon. Plants have firm skinny stalks and will need some support when it full season. Fruits are sweet, softish and very fruity. Perfect for salads, pickling, snacking and tomato treats such as jams and jellies. Perfect for small spaces or window sills. 65 days to begin ripening. -
Earliest Of All Tomato
If you are looking for an early variety with good production and taste, try Earliest Of All tomato. Though not the earliest in our garden, these were still very early. Ours started ripening about 68 days from transplant. Short plants produced larger cherries that are tart and strong. Ours did get slightly sweeter as the season progressed. Texture is good. These are perfect for canning, cooking, juicing and fresh eating. Nice short-season variety! -
Santori Tomato
A wonderful little tomato that grows on a determinate bush. Plants are short and produce a lot of large cherries/ping pong sized fruits that have many great uses. Very good taste but on the tart side. These are great canners, for cooking, snacking, market sales, very good for salsa and more. Ours started ripening around 70 days from transplant. -
Paw Tomato
Paw Tomato is a rear slicing variety. Three to five ounce fruits are uniformed and generally blemish-free. Plants are tall and have good disease resistance. Our plants were prolific and vibrant. This is a mid-season variety that produces sweeter but slightly mild and delicious fruits, delivering a really good tomato experience. A very nice and rare find for us in 2019, Tschechische Gelbe tomato was one of my personal favorites. Large sized cherry tomatoes have a medium-firm feel with lots of juiciness and wonderful aroma when fully ripened. These are sweeter and fruity, but must ripen well for the full experience. Plants are about 6 feet tall and produce plenty. Ours showed wonderful resistance to early blight. Great for snacking, canning, garnish, cooking and so much more. Try this rare and wonderful variety, you too may get hooked! -
Zluta Kytice Tomato
A multi-flora variety, Zluta Kytice tomato packs nice flavor. Four to five feet tall plants are so prolific that you will have a tough time harvesting them. Sweet and fruity, yellow cherries, are not more than one inch long. They are produced on bunches of sometimes more than 50. Plant are study and early ripening, coming in at around 70 days. Nice disease resistance, good hardiness. These will quickly become one of your favorites! Perfect market variety! Great too for deserts, salads, canning and so much more! Zluta Kyrice is a wonderful, never-ending snack! -
Minipop Tomato
Just pop one in and you will be hooked. Minipop tomato is a smaller, medium firm and sweeter cherry tomato. It has a rich and full flavor. Not very common, in fact rare, this prolific producing variety will keep you very busy all season long. Tall plants are extremely hardy and disease resistant. They produce an lot, and early! Our 3 plants started ripening around 70 days from transplant. They sprawled and sprawled. Minipop's texture is good, especially for snacking on the spot. Auranticum Tomato
Auranticum tomato was a standout for us in 2018. We are introducing seeds in 2019. Five feet tall, multiflora plants, produce more delicious cherry tomatoes than you could harvest. Fruits are produced in bunches of 20-50 or perhaps more. Taste is sweet and fruity with mild tang. These are perfect for salads, snacking, canning and so much more. A perfect treat for market vendors. Great if your need is less plants and more production! -
Chansky Early Tomato
The second variety to ripen in our 2019 grow-outs, this basket variety is eye catching and tasty too! Short, determinate plants hold on to every bloom, making them very prolific. , These are pretty unique looking. I definitely had my eyes on them all summer long! Though perfect for baskets, we grew ours in the ground. Because of their short height and sprawling habit, that presented some challenges but we were able to make it work. Plants are not more than 18 inches tall. They produce plenty slightly egg shaped cherry fruits, that are whiteish when green. They turn into a mild red when fully ripened. Balanced flavor, great for an early tomato. Snacking, canning, salads and more. Worth my while! Get your baskets ready! Novelty!
