Dwarf Whereokowhai Tomato
One of my favorites for 2020 Dwarf Whereokowhai tomato was really surprising and satisfying. 2.5-3 feet tall plants, these produced so many fruits that I was eating every time I walked by the plants. Fruits were sweet and fruity with plenty richness. When sliced, Whereokowhai is a sight to behold! A beautiful marbling of yellows and pinks will really turn your head. Hardy, tree-like plants. 75-80 days from transplant.Good choice for container of small space growing! -
Dwarf Round Robin Tomato
Just when you thought that you've seen it all, here comes Dwarf Round Robin tomato! This real cutie is also very tasty. Round Robin has some of the same colorings of Dwarf Audrey's Love. Both are beautiful! Plants are short, perfect for container growing and early. Ours started ripening fruits about 72 days from transplant. No signs of diseases were ever seen on these! Taste is sweet and fruity, very rich taste on these! Tree-like plants are about 2.5 feet tall and will keep pumping them out for you! Try these!! -
Dwarf Peppermint Stripes Tomato
If you are looking for an outstanding Dwarf tomato, try Dwarf Peppermint Stripes. I first grew these in 2020 as a trial and loved them. This year, 2021, I grew them out for seeds. Beautiful bi-colored fruits have complex but very balanced taste. Nice size for a good garden snack. Slices very nicely when fully ripened. Plants are 3 feet tall and prolific. Ours began ripening about 74 days after transplant and continued until frost. Good disease resistance. -
Dwarf Numbat Tomato
Dwarf Numbat Tomato was a nice little find for us in 2020. Short plants produced heavy crops of large cherries that were great for canning, snacking and even slicing. Taste for us was mild and tart and tasty. Our plants were about 2-2.5 feet tall and started ripening fruits about 70 days after transplant. A beautiful marbling of greens and yellows, Numbat will work well in small garden spaces as well as in containers. -
Dwarf Jackass Yellow Tomato
Dwarf Jackass Yellow tomato turned out to be one of my favorites in 2020. Very clean, shiny, deep yellow fruits are truly a sight to behold when fully ripened. These remind me of Dwarf Egypt Yellow in size and shape, but taste is totally different. Jackass Yellow is sweeter and has a fruity after-taste that I like. This is a really good slicing tomato that will leave you wanting more. Plants are about 3 feet tall and produce prolifically. 75 days to first ripened fruits. If you would like good production in a smaller garden, try Dwarf Jackass Yellow tomato. For ground or container growing! -
Dwarf Clare Valley Pink Tomato
Don't be surprised if you grow these every year. Dwarf Clare Valley Pink tomato is a high producing, early variety. Ours produced their first ripened fruits around 72 days from transplant. 2.5 feet tall plants produced plenty round fruits that were about 4-6 ounces each. These are sweet and juicy with a very nice overall flavor. These would also do wonderfully in smaller gardens or in containers. Good disease resistance! -
Dwarf Aussie Drop Tomato
Dwarf Aussie Drop tomato is a heart shaped fruit that grows on rugose, regular leafed plants. Plants were about 2.5 feet tall and produced heavily. Minimal staking is required. This variety is perfect for dark, sweet sauces, canning, cooking and more. Also a very nice snack in the garden. If you grow in smaller gardens or containers, these will work excellently. A few fruits were more elongated than heart shaped. I recommend 4-5 gallon containers or larger! I really loved these for sauces and cooking with. -
Dwarf Pink Flamingo Tomato
Dwarf Pink Flamingo is a pretty tomato that grows on rugose leaved plants. Our plants grew to about 3 feet and produced plenty of fruits that began to ripen about 65 days after transplant. I really liked the full flavored mildness of these. Sweetish, Pink Flamingo has very subtle hints of fruits that will get you hooked. Smooth fruits without many blemishes. Dwarf Surender's Indian Curry Tomato
Dwarf Surender's Indian Curry tomato is a high producing determinate variety that is perfect for canning, cooking, juicing, fresh salsa. 2 feet tall plants start ripening their fruits around 70 days after transplant. Fruits are about 2 inches in diameter and slightly flattened. Taste is mildly acidic. It is a great variety for container or tight-spaced garden growing. -
Dwarf Yantarnyi Tomato
A nice little canner, Yantarnyi tomato also works well for cooking and and salsa. These are mild and more acidic than sweet. Rabbits in our garden kept attacking our plants so that that is a sign of approval. Tantarnyi has good shelf life. Some of ours lasted for a couple weeks after harvesting. Plants are very prolific and hardy. Ours never showed any signs of diseases. Determinate, plants are about 2.5- 3 get tall and start ripening their fruits about 75 days after transplant. Nice for containers and small garden spaces.. -
Dwarf Rosalinda Tomato
Dwarf Rosalinda tomato is the prettiest pink fruits that are ping pong ball sized. These are sweet, tasty, slightly fruity and inviting. Texture is very nice! Plants are 2.5 - 3 feet tall and would do good in containers. Production is very good but not excellent. Great for snacking, preserves, cooking and more. I look forward to growing Rosalinda again. -
Dwarf CC McGee Tomato
Dwarf CC McGee tomato was my dwarf winner in 2019. Big fruits just kept on coming! Potato leaf, rugose leafed plants were as hardy as you could possibly get. Ours grew to about 3.5 feet tall. Most of our fruits were between six and eight ounces. A few were slightly bigger or smaller. Tomatoes were oblate and a light shade of yellow, or perhaps ivory. Taste was very good, sweet and tart, but in perfect balance, slightly fruity and satisfying. I am definitely growing these wonderful dwarf cultivar again! Great for small gardens or container growing! -
Grandpa Grandpa Gary's Green Tomato
I grew out two Dwarf Grandpa Gary's Green tomato plants in 2018 and literally forgot to harvest them. Towards the end of the season I managed to get about 5 fruits. I found them to be tasty but milder and on the sweet side. A very pleasant and timely experience for me! Fruits were about three, to six ounces, but average about four. These were among the latest dwarfs to ripen, but the wait was worth it. Plants are regular leaf and produce a nice amount, but not prolific. Nice selection for snacking, salads and fresh eating. Great for smaller gardens and containers as most dwarfs are! -
Dwarf Moliagul Moon Tomato
Dwarf Moliagul Moon tomato was one of my favorites in 2019. Three feet tall plants produce plenty 2-4 ounce fruits that had sweet rich flavor with some fruitiness and nice texture. Plants were prolific until season's end. These are perfect for large container growing or in the ground. Great too, if you have a small garden spot and want high production and good taste. Moliagul Moon is a good choice for snacking, garnish, preserves(jams, jellies) etc. Side Note: Most dwarf varieties will do well in smaller gardens. -
A high producing variety, Dwarf Maura's Cardinal tomato is truly a treat in any garden. Ours were exceptionally prolific! Oblate, Cardinal red fruits, are very pretty and weigh about 4-6 ounces. These are unmistakable in appearance. This summer our gardens were lit up with a very beautiful but different shade of red. Plants are about 3 feet tall and have nice resistance to early blight. Fruits are very well balanced, sweet but not too much with some zing. These deliver a very nice tomato experience Texture is excellent. Great for slicing, snacking, garnish, market sales, cooking and more!! As a Dwarf variety, it most likely would perform well in larger containers and small garden spaces, too -
Mulatte Dwarf Tomato
Mulatte Dwarf tomato is a good producing and very tasty variety. Chocolate/bronze colored fruits can weigh 10 ounces, but most average 5-8. Plants are about 3 feet tall, yet need staking. Our fruits are usually sweet and have rich complex flavor. Texture is excellent, especially on a sandwich. Fruits begin to ripen about 75 days after transplant. Mulatte Dwarf can do well in larger containers or small gardens. Perfect as a snack, for garnish, cooking, slicing on a platter and also for market sales. A very good choice if you like rich tasting tomatoes! -
Dwarf Hazy's Dream Tomato
I have a lot of admiration and respect for the work that is done at the Dwarf Tomato Project. Some of the best dwarf tomatoes that I have grown were as a result of their hard work. This one has a rich flavor, masked by mild fruitiness. Overall, it's a sweet tomato that has a very nice balance. Juice is rich and delicious. Dwarf Hazy's Dream tomato plants are about 3 feet tall and produce a nice amount of 2-5 ounce fruits, though most are around 2-4. Ours came in a little late, starting to ripen fruits about 82 days after transplant. Definitely worth the wait! Perfect little slicer that you would enjoy. Note: Most dwarf varieties do well in containers and small gardens. -
Dwarf Goldfinch Tomato
Mildly sweet, full flavored and delicious with nice undertones, is how I would describe Dwarf Goldfinch tomato. Big, canary yellow fruits, can weigh ten to twelve ounces, but ours averaged around 8-10. Our plants grew to three feet tall and produced a very nice crop which began to ripen about 78 days after transplant. Disease resistance was great for us and we harvested until season's end. These need to be staked early because of the quantity and size of fruits. Works excellently in smaller gardens or larger containers (5 gallons or larger). If you have never grown dwarf varieties before this variety would be a great way to start. Really nice taste on these! -
Dwarf Laura's Bounty Tomato
One of my favorite grow-outs in 2019, Dwarf Laura's Bounty tomato just kept producing and producing. I accidentally started too many plants, so I had plenty extras for beautiful, tasty tomato sauce. This variety is deep yellow outside and in. 2.5 feet tall plants produce tons of 3 inch, elongated tomatoes that are sweet and rich. I have used these in some of my favorite tomato sauces. Disease resistance is really good. All of our plants did excellently in extreme weather. These are good for smaller gardens, especially if pressed for space. Containers, YES! I recommend 5 gallons or more. You can't go wrong with Dwarf Laura's Bounty! -
Dwarf Parfait Tomato
I love growing dwarf tomatoes because they always surprise me. After growing them for quit a few years, I still cant get over how much they can produce produce and how large some of the tomatoes can be. Dwarf Parfait tomato, is a beautiful and larger variety that, when ripened, is green on the outside and yellow on the inside. This combination makes for an interesting contrast that will turn any head! Three feet tall plants, produce 6-12 ounce fruits that have a deep, rich taste. Texture is superb and aroma is very inviting. Our plants displayed excellent disease resistance, making these even more attractive to me. Parfait is a later variety but your wait wouldn't be in vain. Perfect for sandwiches, slicing, garnish and more! Dwarf varieties are perfect for smaller gardens! Recommended! -

Dwarf Suzy's Beauty Tomato
You will be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful fruit when sliced, than Dwarf Suzy's Beauty tomato. Big bi-colored fruits, can reach 14 ounces but average 10. They have plenty of exterior appeal too! Other than looks, these are very tasty, with rich, thick juice that drips from your fingers. Plenty fruitiness and sweets are also very evident. This is a very good tomato! Dwarf plants are 3 feet tall and produce a lot for such large variety. Ours started ripening about 75 days after transplant. These may do well in 5 gallon containers or bigger. Perfect if you have a small garden space but wanting big fruits and production! Recommended! -
Pixie Striped Dwarf tomato is a beautiful red and yellow fruit that grows on 2 feet tall plants. When you try these, you can expect good production on productive, very hardy plants. Ours did not have any diseases in 2018, even though it was a tough year! This is a perfect container variety that should do well in 4 or 5 gallon containers. Pixie Striped has hollow insides and may be good for some stuffing. Cavities are not too deep. These are sweeter and mild, not too much juice. I suspect they will work well for dehydrating too! This little dwarf tomato is a pleasure to grow! -
Looking for a short, dwarf variety that produces like crazy? Try Nano Ciliegia Dwarf tomato! These can outproduce anything! Sweetish cherries are firm and delicious. They have fabulous texture and are perfect for snacking! Plants are no taller than 2.5 feet, but are always loaded. Fruits are average cherry sized. Nano Ciliegia is a recomended variety for container growing. If you have a small garden, this dwarf variety could work well! Stake well, because plants easily get top heavy with fruits. We noticed our first ripened fruits around day 75. Works for salads, canning, dehydrating and tons more. Try These! -
Here is another good flavored, dwarf cherry. Dwarf Barossa Moon tomato is canary yellow and slightly larger than the average size cherry tomato. When fully ripened they are sweet, not too mild and flavorful. These are perfect for snacking in the garden, salads, dehydrating and more. Just pop one in your mouth and experience a burst of fruitiness. I love these because they are relatively crack-free and begin to ripen pretty early. Ours came in around 70 days after transplant. Plants continued producing until season's end. Dwarf plants are around 2 feet tall and produce clusters of 5 -7 fruits, under thick foliage. Perfect for in-ground and container growing! -
Blanche de Prusse Dwarf tomato is a flavorful, slicing variety that grows on short, 2.5 feet tall vines. Plants have rugose leaves. They produce plenty, pale yellow fruits that grow in clusters of 4-6. Our first fruits started ripening around the 73 day mark and continued until season's end. I really love the taste of these, especially in fresh salsa and as snackers. They have a nice amount of fruity juice. Texture is also there! These are perfect for biting onto, especially on a hot garden's day. Try dehydrating some! Grow these in 5 gallon containers and you will be rewarded with tasty, yellow gems! -
Get your salad bowl ready! Dwarf Bendigo Blush tomato is going to be perfect for salads! Smaller, plum shaped fruits ripen to a pretty pink. They bear in clusters of 5-7 and start ripening about 70 days after transplant in your garden. Plants have rugose leaves and reach about 2-2.5 feet tall. They produce plenty fruits for their short size. Fruits are plump and firm. They are sweet, juicy and sort of fruity with a little tang. Dwarf Bendigo Blush is perfect for container growing. In 2018 I grew about 50 varieties of dwarf tomatoes. Dwarf Bendigo Dawn tomato was one that I really enjoyed. Sweet, pink, plum shaped tomatoes, were mostly yellowish on their top ends. The blending of the two colors create a really interesting look. Fruits are sweet. For us much more so that Dwarf Bendigo Blush. Juice is rich, tasty and flavorful! These are great for snacking, salads, dehydrating, salsa and so much more. Plants produce plenty but they are not super prolific. I had about 2.5 quarts, over an extended period, from one plant. Great for container or in-ground growing.
