Evil Olive Tomato
I really got a surprise when my Evil Olive tomato plants started ripening their fruits. Even as an experienced grower, their exterior colors when fully ripened were stunning and surprising to me. But that's not all! I got an even bigger surprise when I cut them open. Beautiful shades of orange, greens and lime suddenly revealed themselves. Evil Olive plants have a darkish tint to their foliage and produce plenty regular sized cherry tomatoes. Fruit color is dark green with a nice shade of orange on blossom end, when ripened. Taste is nice with a little tang. Great fresh salsa tomato! Also nice for snacking, canning, garnish. Good disease resistance. 75 days after transplant. -
Rainbow Cherry Tomato
Rainbow Cherry tomato is exciting and refreshing. Nice sized cherry tomatoes are beautifully blushed with pinks and yellows and are sweet, mildly tangy and fruity. These are really perfect for snacking, canning, market sales, garnish and so much more! If you wish is to try a new and very flavorful cherry variety, try this one. Barby Tomato
Another new and rare determinate variety here in 2019, Barby tomato is perhaps my favorite of them all. Short plants produce big crops of deep red, blemish-free and flavorful fruits. These are perfect little slicers too. Along with Birch, these two produced a bunch of early and tasty fruits. I especially love Barby because it showed no signs of diseases and held up very well, even in a tough season. Perfect for cooking, juicing, snacking, canning, stews and more. Good choice for early market tomatoes. I also suspect that they will perform admirably in containers of perhaps 4 gallons and larger. Try these you will like them. -
Birch Tomato
Birch tomato is a determinate variety that is early and prolific. Deep red fruits have good texture, are mildly sweet and juicy. Three feet tall plants start producing early and are hardy and dependable. I especially loved the nice and tasty balance that the fruits had. Plants have to be staked because of large production. 3-6 ounce fruits are deep red and begin to ripen about 70-75 days after transplant. They produce bunches of about 5-7 fruits that begin to ripen in quick succession. Perfect size tomatoes for munching on. These would also make great tomato juice. I made tomato stew with some too. Monetka Micro Dwarf Tomato
One of the best tasting Micro varieties, Monetka Micro Dwarf tomato is perfect for growing in one gallon or 3/4 gallon sized containers. Heavy producing, these will provide you with sweeter and flavorful cherries, that have a medium firm texture. Perfect for salads, canning whole and just snacking. Plants are about 8 inches tall and begin to ripen their fruits about 65 days after transplant. Pale yellow fruits turn into beautiful canary yellow and ripens quickly once they start. These also have a very nice aroma when sliced. Try staggering some plants about 2 weeks apart and you will have a continual supply of some of the best tasting micro dwarfs. Promise! -

Bonsai Micro Dwarf Tomato
Another huge producer of nice fat cherries, Bonsai Micro Dwarf tomato has quickly become one of my favorites varieties. Approximately 8 inch plants, are bushy and create a nice cover for their fruits. Most of our Bonsai plants produced really plump fruits. Two plants out of ten, produced smaller(but not tiny) sized fruits. Taste was the same on all plants. These were juicy, medium firm, milder and on the sweet side. I am really happy that I grew these out. performed excellently in 3/4 gallon containers, but I would try one gallon next time, just for the experience. I'll report back. -
I grew out Kaleidoscope Jewel Tomato in 2018 and was pleased with it's results. I really loved that they were prolific and had relatively good disease resistance. Plants are about 5-6 feet tall and produce beautiful antho fruits of red and black. In our garden, they began ripening their fruits about 75 days after transplant. As far as taste, these were milder and earthy, with some sweetness. They are very juicy. Very good, but not excellent! They certainly made great fresh salsa. Which was my primary purpose, along with juicing, for growing them. They make fantastic tomato juice They are also a great market variety for anyone wanting them primarily for garnishing. All in all, a good tomato! -
Plisowany Różowy Tomato
If you are daring and would like to try a variety that's different, tasty, hardy and prolific, then Plisowany Różowy tomato is one for you. I acquired these from my polish friend who has sent me many new and rare varieties. This variety is a little different from many of the ruffled ones that we have grown because of it's texture and smooth eating flesh. It's shelf life isn't too long so they have to be put to use once harvested. Fruits are sweet and medium-mild, but with excellent overall finish. Certainly a garnish tomato that works well for sauces too! Cooking with these is a blast! Hardy plants, very good production until late season! -
Looking for a short, dwarf variety that produces like crazy? Try Nano Ciliegia Dwarf tomato! These can outproduce anything! Sweetish cherries are firm and delicious. They have fabulous texture and are perfect for snacking! Plants are no taller than 2.5 feet, but are always loaded. Fruits are average cherry sized. Nano Ciliegia is a recomended variety for container growing. If you have a small garden, this dwarf variety could work well! Stake well, because plants easily get top heavy with fruits. We noticed our first ripened fruits around day 75. Works for salads, canning, dehydrating and tons more. Try These! -
Here is another good flavored, dwarf cherry. Dwarf Barossa Moon tomato is canary yellow and slightly larger than the average size cherry tomato. When fully ripened they are sweet, not too mild and flavorful. These are perfect for snacking in the garden, salads, dehydrating and more. Just pop one in your mouth and experience a burst of fruitiness. I love these because they are relatively crack-free and begin to ripen pretty early. Ours came in around 70 days after transplant. Plants continued producing until season's end. Dwarf plants are around 2 feet tall and produce clusters of 5 -7 fruits, under thick foliage. Perfect for in-ground and container growing! -
We planted Sailor's Luck tomato in a place where it could be easily seen in our garden. It took about 75 days before fruits started to ripen. I liked that they were prolific and also appreciated that they had good disease resistance. Sailor's Luck is an oval/blunt heart shaped tomato, which is milder but tomatoey. Bi-colored purple and green striped fruits have visual appeal! It's texture is not firm but not too soft either. It's not sweet or tart and its flavor is very good. It will be a good choice for cooking, fresh salsa, canning, sauce, and snacking. -
Taiwan Goddess tomato is a very unique variety. It's the perfect salad and snacking variety! Skinny vines reach about 5 feet tall and produce bunches of about 10-15, plum shaped cherry tomatoes. Nothing else looks like it in the garden, so you will always know where they are. These keep very well after harvest, so no rush to use them. Flavor is sweet and full, nothing missing. Fruits are not seedy. Our first fruits began to ripen about 70 days after transplant. It takes about 1.5 weeks for the entire cluster to ripen. Crunchy, tasty and prolific too! These should do well in containers! -
One of the things I like about Ussuri Tiger tomato is that it has a good niche. This is a mild and juicy fruit that has a fruity aftertaste. At the farmers market, some of our customers loved it because it was not strong, but still delicious. Ussuri Tiger is an antho tomato that sports nice dark stripes over pale yellows. Our first ripened fruits were relatively early, coming in around 70-72 days. Plants were very prolific and hardy. Some of ours were still producing a lot at September's end! These are great for snacking, garnishing, salsa, cooking, canning and so much more! Very good market variety! -
If production, disease resistance and taste are what you are after, Yubileyny Tarasenko tomato is for you! I have grown a lot of tomatoes from the Tarasenko series and I love them all. But this one is perhaps the most prolific! Five feet tall vines produce huge clusters of pretty, red fruits, that are a bit larger than average cherry size. Fruits have nipples on their blossom end. That's pretty common with Mr Tarasenko's tomatoes. These are well balanced, juicy (but not too much), aromatic and really tasty. Great for snacking, salads, drying, sauces, cooking, canning and so much more! Nice shelf life! -
Get your salad bowl ready! Dwarf Bendigo Blush tomato is going to be perfect for salads! Smaller, plum shaped fruits ripen to a pretty pink. They bear in clusters of 5-7 and start ripening about 70 days after transplant in your garden. Plants have rugose leaves and reach about 2-2.5 feet tall. They produce plenty fruits for their short size. Fruits are plump and firm. They are sweet, juicy and sort of fruity with a little tang. Dwarf Bendigo Blush is perfect for container growing. In 2018 I grew about 50 varieties of dwarf tomatoes. Dwarf Bendigo Dawn tomato was one that I really enjoyed. Sweet, pink, plum shaped tomatoes, were mostly yellowish on their top ends. The blending of the two colors create a really interesting look. Fruits are sweet. For us much more so that Dwarf Bendigo Blush. Juice is rich, tasty and flavorful! These are great for snacking, salads, dehydrating, salsa and so much more. Plants produce plenty but they are not super prolific. I had about 2.5 quarts, over an extended period, from one plant. Great for container or in-ground growing. -
The pictures below say it all. Dwarf Pink Opal tomato is, in my opinion a superb little cherry variety. I love everything about it. Plants are short, very productive, pretty and delicious. Our plants displayed really good disease resistance! Dwarf Pink Opal brought us tomatoes all season long. About 1.5 inches in diameter, these tender pink, smooth skinned, fruity cherries, are perfect for snacking. They are mildly sweet and juicy and make a really good salad. But snacking on them right in the garden is how I really loved them. Another good one for container growing! Try some, you'll love them too. -
Perhaps the most prolific dwarf variety that we grew in 2018, Dwarf Mary's Cherry tomato is awesome! Inconsistent in sizes, fruits vary from 2-3 inches in diameter. Dwarf Mary's Cherry is rich and juicy. There is some sweetness and a bit of earthiness also! It's a really good tomato for snacking and fresh tomato salsa. It should really liven up your soups, the flavor is that good! Our plants did not exceed 2.5 feet tall and they began to ripen fruits early, coming in at 70 days after transplant. This variety is easily one of my top ten dwarf varieties. Another good variety for growing in containers or in the ground. Side disease resistance too! -
Here is a nice dwarf tomato for you to try. I expected these to be acidic, but they were not. They were mild and fruity with some sweet reflections. Dwarf Citron Compact tomato is truly a nice treat at any time, especially in the garden Fruits are about the size of a golf ball, perhaps a tad smaller. They have a softer feel with plenty of rich juice and good texture. These are great when sliced up in a salad. Great for snacking. Try canning some too! Plants are about 2.5 feet tall and produce plenty canary yellow fruits that will delight you! 72 days to ripen. -
I grew Dwarf Kangaroo Paw Yellow tomato for the first time in 2018. They were really good, especially for slicing and snacking. Our plants were about 2 feet high, had rugose leaves and produced 2-4 ounce fruits that ripened to a pretty, clean yellow color. Plants also started ripen fruits around 72 days after transplant in the garden. What I liked about its flavor was that it was not too mild and had some really good fruitiness when fully ripened. Some sweetness with very little tang. These are great also for canning, making fresh salsa and more. Will work well when grown in containers or small gardens. -
Another of my favorites in 2018, Dwarf Striped Antho tomato kept my attention all season long. Short plants suitable for growing in containers also, produced round and slightly oblate fruits, that displayed nice antho on their top side. On the blossom end they were a beautiful red and yellowish striping. That combination certainly lit up our garden. Our plants were about 2-2.5 feet tall, had rugose, regular leaves, but not thick foliage. These started ripening around 72 days from transplant and continued until season's end. Dwarf Striped Antho is perfect for snacking, canning, garnish, market sales and so much more. Fruits are mildly sweet and fruity, with some beautiful earthy undertones. -
Easily one of my favorite dwarf varieties in 2018, Dwarf Shadow Boxing tomato thrilled me from start to finish. I really loved the foliage on these babies. Plants produced 2 inch long plum shaped fruits were a bit late to ripen. When they finally started to turn, the most beautiful tri-colored antho fruits emerged. They were firm and plump with a good, sweet and balanced taste. I Made some really great salsa with them. These will work great for garnishing, cooking, dehydrating, canning and more. The best part of all, is that plants are prolific and indeterminate, so you will have plenty tomatoes until the end of the growing season. Must grow these! -

In 2018 we grew quite a few exciting new varieties. Indische Fleisch tomato is one of them. Dark colored fruits are darker than most black varieties. They have green shoulders that fades as fruits become well ripened. Fruits average about 5-8 ounces and are born on vibrant, hard working vines! As far as taste, I loved, love, love these. They were perfectly balanced with earthy tones, some acidity and sweets too. Superb texture accompanied its taste, which assisted in making this tomato winner. Plants were about 5 feet tall and produce plenty! Perfect slicing tomato that will work well for sandwiches too. Try dehydrating some. Winner! -
I planted Grunge In The Sky tomato in mid-May 2018 and never really looked back. I had no reason to. During my usual hand watering sessions, I would inspect my plants but they never developed any issues with blights. Vibrant vines started ripening their fruits about 70 days after I transplanted them. Fruits started ripening yellow, then changed to a faded bi-color as they became riper. Their interiors were beautiful, but not as bi-colored as I expected. I liked the juicy, fruity feel of this one. It's very refreshing! I snacked on them all day long as I worked in the garden. You will too! -
One of the most beautiful anthos that I have grown, Stripes Of Yore tomato also has good flavor, without the antho usual taste that many of us dislike. Displaying pretty yellow with random black clutches/stripes, this one will turn heads in your garden! On the milder side with some fruitiness, this saladette tomato also serves well as a garnish and cooking tomato. Chefs love it, so that says a lot! Skinny plants can grow to 6 feet tall and produce plenty fruits. It's also a good choice for market sales. Ours started ripening about 78 days after transplant and continued until season's end.
