Pinocchio is the reason that I got into micro dwarf tomatoes. I could hardly believe that this short plant could produce tomatoes with such excellent flavor. Pinocchio micro dwarf is a great tomato for jams and jellies, providing that you could keep yourself from eating them off of the plant. They are sweet, juicy, soft and fruity with thin skin. Plants mature at about 7 inches and send out a few very useful suckers that are anxious to also produce fruits. Ours do excellently in 3/4 gallon containers. about 70 days to ripen after transplant!

I grew orange hat and pinocchio both this summer and I liked the pinocchio ones best. Now that I know they will grow on a sunny windowsill in 6 inch flowerpots I will try more varieties and some microgreens this summer 2023. I started them in grow cubes in May before transplanting. They took about 70-75 days to produce edible tomatoes but kept going until mid october. I am in zone 6 with very hot extended 100 degree summers and high winds and sandy soils so I cannot grow much outdoors

Highly recommend, esp if you are partial to the sweeter tomatoes. These were such a nice little surprise! The taste is almost like citrus. Beautiful plants, very compact, very small. I grew mine in half gallon containers in soil (do not grow tomatoes hydroponically unless you want them to be as tastless as supermarket tomatoes!). These were delicious and I will grow these again and again!

Love these. Sweet. Pick when orange and soft with some give. Excellent flavor. Make plantings about every 10 -15 days for continuous supply. Use grow lights indoors in the winter.

Of all the micro dwarf varieties that I have grown Pinocchio Orange is my favorite. They are like little fruity candies. Highly Recommended!
